It's storytime Podcast day! Dan and Jess talk about Memphis's Birthday, taking her to a Elementary school to talk about Responsible Pet Ownership, and the upcoming Pet Expos that Gone to the Snow Dogs will be attending. Next, Jess tells the story of Beth the Ghost who lived in the first house that her and Jamie in when they first got married. Then Jess tells a story of why living in a small town is amazing.
Podcast Breakdown
The day this was recorded was Memphis's birthday! She turned 6 years old! Jess talks about her birthday video she filmed, and how it started off a something simple, and became a bit more complex. For Memphis's birthday she got to go to an elementary school to help teach kids about responsible pet ownership.
The conversation changes to talking about Pet Expos. Dan wonders if the dogs get convention flu like people do when they attend conventions. There are a few conventions that Gone to the Snow Dogs will be at. The West Michigan Pet Expo has already passed by the time this episode is uploaded. Next up is the Canadian Pet Expo in Toronto, Canada from April 19th - 21st, and then there is the long drive across country to Petcon in Los Angeles, California on June 22nd. So if you are interested in meeting Gone to the Snow Dogs, those are the next few places they will be at.
The topic slowly switches to the personality of the dogs. We get to learn a little bit of insight on all of the dogs including Shiloh, Oakley, Shelby and Memphis. Dan had a lot of question about convention life, how the dogs act at conventions, and then he finds out that Shiloh was on a lottery ticket. So of course more of that story is told. And then we learn that Shelby was on a vacuum cleaner box for Bissel.

Jess lives in a small town (less then 10k population), and she has another story for us today, about why living as a country mouse is such a great thing. A friend of hers was moving and had scheduled a rental of a U-Haul truck. What was supposed to be something simple, turns out to be a big fiasco. The people needed it, and were planning on leaving the next day. The truck they rented was dropped off at the wrong location, and the location was closed. Can Jess save the day and find a way to still get the truck for her friends at 5pm on a Sunday night? Listen and find out!

Today Dan and Jess talk about all the things! Gone to the Snow Dogs hit 100k on TikTok (Dan's favorite app). Does David Dobrick deserve a kids choice award? What type of tea are we drinking today? What what TV shows are we watching right now?
It's time for another episode of the Country Mouse City Mouse Podcast! First in today's podcast, Dan and Jess talk about Gone to the Snow Dogs hitting 100k Followers on TikTok. This leads them into talk about Pet Influencers who dress up their dogs and try to make them into doggy models, versus what Jess does and tires to just showcase her dogs as dogs and not pop stars.

Today we are spilling all the tea, or drinking all the tea. Dan decides to tell us the story about that one time he bought a unicycle, and it doesn't end well, twice! Disney bought fox, and it brings up the question, is Lisa Simpson a Disney Princess? And of course, the weekly YouTube talk! Fantastic Adventurers Abuse of their children, James Charles getting harassed for using mid-roll ads, Charles Trippy has to restart chemotherapy, and Shane Dawson gets engaged!
Today's podcast is about all the tea! In the most literal sense possible. Dan and Jess are both becoming Tea connoisseurs. Both of them just got fancy new Tea machines are are trying out many different styles and flavors of tea. During this conversation, they discover that hot tea is bad for you and can cause cancer. This brings us to the topic of Disney Plus! Disney is launching a new streaming service! Do you think you will buy into it?
While talking about Disney and Fox, the topic takes a jump of track to Forrest Gump, and that Forrest Gump 2 was supposed to be a thing.
Jumping back on the Disney monorail, we learn that Jess is a Disney Fan Girl who used to collect a lot of Disney things!

Topics for today's Podcast include a review of the Nintendo Switch, Jess sucks at Mario Kart and hates Super Smash Bros. Then the story goes into Jess's Jeep breaking down and leaving her stranded 90 miles from home. The last topic of the podcast is Charles Trippy is ending his daily vlogs. The CTFxC as we have known it for the past 10 years, is retiring, sort of.
Today's podcast starts off with Dan, the reigning Mario Kart Champion strutting his stuff against Jess, who lost 7 out of 8 games that they played together. Last week Jess purchased a Nintendo Switch, so this week she had to give a short update on her feelings about it. From Mario Kart, to Donkey Kong, to her new hatred of Super Smash Bros, and then to talking about streaming some Nintendo games at www.youtube.com/arcadesnowdogs again. Playing Video games is fun!

Speaking of the Nintendo Switch, because it's a device you can take with you and play on the go, Dan asks Jess if she took her switch with her on a recent 3 hour road tip to the veterinarians office. She probably should have, because on the way home her 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee broke down. It overheated and left her and her husband Jamie stranded 90 miles away from home. This ended up turning into a grand adventure since Triple A would only tow for 150 miles total, and the trip towing the broke down Jeep would have been over 180 miles. It's one of those stories you just have to hear to believe.

Back to YouTube Talk. Charles Trippy, the Guinness World Recorld Holder for Longest consecutive days of vlogging, recently put up a video talking about finally ended his daily Vlog streak. When he does end it, he will have been vlogging every single day for 10 full years. The CTFxC vlogging streak is coming to an end. Dan and Jess talk about what this means to them, and to the idea of Vlogging in the YouTube community. Charles Trippy is a true Daily Vlogger, and so many vlogggers of today all have him to thank for really pioneering this idea. Charles Trippy has said that he is not going to quit vlogging, he is just going to quit uploading everyday. What does this mean for his Guinness World Record? We will have to wait and find out!

This week our Heroes discuss the Nintendo Switch, Death's of Luke Perry, and the Lead Singer of Prodigy committing Suicide, which spins into The Ghost of Stan Lee, and of course TikTok and them being fined for taking advantage of children and YouTube with their children issues! And last of all, we talk about our hate of Applebees and were we need to go get food!

First in this weeks episode, Dan convinces Jess to finally get a Nintendo Switch! It's tax season, so that means it's time to squander that money, so might as well blow it on something fun like a Nintendo Switch! Any suggestions on games are appreciated!
Next they go a bit dark, but for good reason. It was a day of death! Luke Perry passed away, Keith Flint, the lead singer of The Prodigy, committed suicide, which then spins into them talking about Stan Lee's Twitter account. Who else thinks that they should change the name of the account to the Ghost of Stan Lee?
TikTok is brought up again, since Dan has been challenged to make some TikTok videos. SPOILER ALERT, he is already failing at said challenge. TikTok is being find for taking advantage of children and completely deleting their accounts. Which then goes into talking about YouTube and how they are also hitting kid friendly content and turning off comments on almost all of the kid family content channels that include children.
Last but not least, the discussion of ending the Podcast so that they can go eat food is brought up. This leads into the mutual hate of Applebee's. Discussions about how bad food gets screwed up at so many places, and then shortly after, they decide to end the show to actually go get food!

This week our Heroes talk about being stuck on a train, Momo challenge, the new GoPro 7, Spotify Playlists, and well... death.
We start of today talking about the recent Momo Challenge. Momo is somewhat of an internet hoax that the media has blown up, and now people are replicating the hoax and scaring children on YouTube. Momo is in videos targeted at children, and she pops up and tells children to do scary things! She is showing up on the YouTube kids app. So we talk a bit about how the YouTube kids app is not a babysitter. We also talk about how people believe that Momo can show up in any video, when in reality, those videos are edited before they are uploaded to YouTube.
Next we switch topics and talk about GoPro. From the short story of how Jess bought a GoPro Fusion, and it never worked and she had to fight to return it, to GoPro’s redemption with the release of the GoPro Hero 7 Black, which, she bought and is in love with. During this discussion, we also find out that Dan has never played with Orbeez before! We talk about what would happen if we put Orbeez outside during winter. Would they freeze and burst? Would they just turn to mush? Maybe we will find out in a future episode.
And then the topics switch to the Amtrak Train that was stuck for over 36 hours on the train tracks, while full of people. The people were running low on food, but they did have heat and bathrooms. This brought us to the I was on a Train once topic. When you fall off your train of thought, or your train of thought falls off track. So we try to find the origin of this saying.
Talking about the train, switches us into talk about the massive amount of snow Michigan has been getting and the recent blizzard that cause a few people on snow machines to become stuck deep in the woods in large amounts of snow. Two of them were saved by locals, and the other two broke into a little hut and made it through the night.
Then we switch to talking about new release music from Grandson, and Bad Flower, which spins us into talk about Spotify playlists, including songs to play at Jess’s funeral!
